My directorial debut, that blossomed into a passion I never knew I had.
Directing Hands on a Hardbody was learning experience in many ways. I had never thought of myself as "director material" and I was struggling with my self esteem during the rehearsal times. Oftentimes we find ourselves caught in this web of 'I can't do it' and 'you're not good enough' and we struggle to pull ourselves up and attempt to find success in the darkest of times. But as the show beautifully says: "How will you know if you don't try?"
Responsibilities
-Cast of 16, crew of 3
-Block scenes with the other director
-Choreograph assigned songs
-Write down blocking and choreography
-Run rehearsals when teacher was absent
-Work privately with cast members on songs
-Run music
