Amy Syverson is a BFA Production Design major at Belmont University. She specializes in sound design and digital art. As a designer, Amy strives to invoke strong emotions from the audience. She achieves this by diving deep into the world of the play, researching historical events, culture, media, and human psychology. She believes in art for the purpose of expression and for audiences to leave the theatre with a new way of thinking. 

In recent years, profit-driven productions and artificial intelligence have sterilized art and robbed it of the humanity it once had. Amy strives to achieve the perfect mix of profitability and soul to appeal to audiences of all backgrounds. In a world obsessed with surface-level content and money, the most dangerous thing you can be is original. Amy hopes to inspire other designers and audiences alike to not give in to the traps set up by large corporations and, instead, be bold, new, and exciting.
